Albany Park

This is truly one of the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods in the United States. A mosaic of cultures and diversity, almost half the population is foreign-born.

Near Lawrence and Kedzie, you'll find ethnic delights ranging from pita bread to pad thai.

Russian Jews were in the majority here until the 1950's. Koreans played a large role in the neighborhood's revitalization in recent years, and a stretch of Lawrence Avenue is now "Honorary Seoul Drive."
